We offer special rates for school groups and provide educational material and worksheets in line with the curriculum for all age groups.

EDUCATION PACKS

County Hall Gallery has compiled an information pack to support your visit from practical planning to information on the artist. You can request a hard copy from our groups department on 020 7450 7617 or take a look at the online education pack.

TOURS & TALKS

Tours and talks are available as an aid to school groups visiting the Dali Universe, explaining major themes and symbolism seen in Salvador Dali's major and lesser known works, citing examples from the exhibition. These can be linked to activity questions that students go on to answer as they explore the gallery. Maximum tour size is 20 students, and maximum number for a seated talk is 70 students.

A tour or talk can be added to your booking at £4.50 per student.

AUDIOGUIDES

In Autumn 2004, County Hall Gallery has introduced an English children's audioguide featuring an interactive quiz throughout the tour of Dali's sculpture, prompting children to make observations about the artwork and the artist.

Also now available at the Dali Universe are multilingual adult audioguides. The tours give great depth and insight to the artworks, explaining the context and significance of various works on display, also incorporating famous words quoted from the artist himself.

The multilingual adult tours are available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Highly recommended for language schools and older students seeking to practice a second language. The English children's tour is recommended for students aged 7 - 13.

Individual audioguides can be booked for your visit at £2.50 per unit.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

2. Complete a group booking form and fax to 020 7620 3120 or email to groups@countyhallgallery.com

3. Once a completed booking form is received by County Hall Gallery, you will receive a confirmation form, verifying all the details of your visit. You may also request an education pack, which will assist you in planning your visit, providing background information on the exhibition and artist, as well as curriculum links and activity sheets.

4. On arrival, you should present the confirmation form at the County Hall Gallery Box Office. Schools can pay on the day by cash, cheque or credit card. If you have booked a talk or a tour, you will be met at the Box Office by your guide, who will introduce your group to Dali's world of madness and wonder.
